MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Define the business development strategy, in agreement with the owner;
  • Identify new growth areas;
    Manage relations with importers/distributors, brokers and brand ambassadors;

THE PROFILE

We are looking for a candidate with consolidated experience in Operations, Supply Chain or Production Planning, preferably gained within the wine or Food & Beverage. The ideal candidate is accustomed to working in dynamic environments and has a strong understanding of procurement, production and logistics processes.

A diploma or degree in Economics, Engineering, Oenology or a related field is preferred. Excellent knowledge of ERP management systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central, together with strong analytical and organizational skills, is required. A good command of English and proficiency in the main IT tools are essential.

THE PERSON

We are looking for a proactive, organized and results-oriented professional, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate demonstrates autonomy, precision and a strong sense of responsibility, combined with a practical approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Flexibility, reliability and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment are essential.

The role requires a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret stock levels, forecasts, sales data and purchasing requirements to ensure continuity of supply and efficient management of operations.

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Management of the customer order cycle, in coordination with the sales network and back office, including stock availability checks and delivery planning;
  • Planning and management of purchases of bottled and bulk wine, based on stock levels, orders, forecasts, sales and historical data;
  • Planning and coordination of bottling activities with external contract bottlers, producers and suppliers;
  • Management of packaging and dry goods, including artwork approval, product specifications and bill of materials;
  • Coordination of logistics activities, including collections from suppliers and bottlers, stock movements and periodic inventories;
  • Management and reconciliation of warehouse data, including cost control and service invoice verification;
  • Management of ERP data and processes, including product master data, standard costs, warehouses and locations;
  • Monitoring commercial agreements and coordination of supplier payment follow-ups;

Previous experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating multiple business functions is required. Experience within structured corporate groups or post-acquisition integration projects, together with a sound understanding of the wine industry’s production processes, regulatory framework, and market dynamics, will be considered a significant advantage.

Excellent command of the English language and strong IT skills are essential.
